Overview
interactives Journal maintains the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing practices. These policies ensure transparency, fairness, and quality in all aspects of our publication process. All authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to these guidelines.
Publication Ethics
Authorship Criteria
Authors must meet all four criteria established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE):
- Substantial Contribution: Made significant contributions to the conception, design, implementation, data acquisition, or analysis and interpretation
- Drafting or Revision: Drafted the work or revised it critically for important intellectual content
- Final Approval: Gave final approval of the version to be published
- Accountability: Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work
Corresponding Author Responsibilities
- Ensure all co-authors meet authorship criteria
- Obtain consent from all authors for submission and publication
- Serve as primary contact for editorial correspondence
- Manage revisions and responses to reviewers
- Ensure accuracy of author contributions and affiliations
Changes to Authorship
- Must be approved by all authors
- Require written justification to the Editor-in-Chief
- Cannot be made after acceptance without exceptional circumstances
Originality and Plagiarism
interactives has zero tolerance for plagiarism and self-plagiarism:
- All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software
- Similarity threshold: less than 15% for review articles, less than 10% for original research
- Proper citation required for all sources, including authors' own previous work
- Direct quotes must be clearly marked with quotation marks
- Paraphrased content must be properly attributed
